Is travertine suitable for a terrace in the Polish climate?

Yes, provided the substrate, falls, waterproofing and frost-resistant grout are done correctly. We seal the stone after laying and show you how to maintain it.

Does stone in a shower area absorb water?

Travertine and marble are porous, which is why we install full waterproofing beneath the surface and seal the stone afterwards. Without that it stains.

Do you lay large-format slabs?

Yes, up to 120×280 cm. They need two or three people, a perfectly level substrate and specialist handling equipment — all accounted for in the quote.

Natural stone and terraces — travertine, marble, granite | Warsaw

We lay natural stone where every millimetre shows: on walls and floors, in shower areas, on terraces and external steps. Travertine and marble need a different approach to porcelain — different adhesive, grout and sealing. This is our specialism, not an add-on.

How long it takes and what drives the price

A 20–30 m² travertine terrace usually takes 2–3 weeks including substrate preparation, falls and waterproofing. A stone shower area takes 5–8 days. Worktops and sills are cut and fitted in 1–2 days.
